best stud finders

Our house has walls of lath and plaster, which are covered by drywall. It 's always been very difficult to find studs for hanging heavy objects because of the thickness of the walls. The electronic studfinders are unreliable. This works surprisingly well. Just hold down a bit 'rough and move in a sort of figure-eight movement. When a pin, you pull out your hand and hung on the wall. It can double check by trying the same process of less than a foot or two. Great product!
